RWE Generation UK is offering a full-time, fixed-term 13-month mechanical engineering industrial placement in the HRSG and Balance of Plant team. The role supports Didcot B CCGT Power Station in Oxfordshire and may include exposure to RWE’s central engineering office in Swindon and other UK sites. Responsibilities include data analysis, supporting long- and short-term projects, pressure system asset integrity processes, plant improvement projects, plant investigations, and assisting with a significant HRSG outage subject to scheduling. The placement includes on-the-job training, courses, and workshops. Candidates should ideally be pursuing a BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering/science subject, with an industrial placement year and an interest in project coordination and pressure systems.
