About the role
Hydraulic Engineer for a dredging vessel. Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of onboard hydraulic systems; diagnosing and repairing hydraulic equipment and lines; supporting dredging operations; performing preventive maintenance and system checks; ensuring compliance with safety procedures and technical standards; and reporting on system performance. Requirements include technical education in mechanical, hydraulic, or marine engineering; experience with hydraulic systems, ideally at sea; valid STCW Basic Safety Training; valid STCW Medical Certificate; valid Seaman’s Book; good English; and strong problem-solving skills. The role is offered under a Polish employment contract with opportunities for growth and a 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off rotation.
