About the role
Senior Project Planner needed to support a leading energy operator’s Developments and Decommissioning Projects Team. The role involves developing and managing detailed project schedules for capital projects and decommissioning activities, supporting subsea development and installation, drilling and completions, facilities engineering, and asset decommissioning. Responsibilities include progress monitoring and reporting using earned value analysis, S-curves, KPIs, and critical path analysis; leading planning workshops and schedule reviews; chairing weekly planning meetings; coordinating planning inputs across disciplines; managing baseline and re-baseline activities; liaising with engineering, procurement, production, and asset planning teams; mentoring junior planners; and supporting continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has senior project planning experience in Oil & Gas or a similar heavy engineering environment, strong Primavera and CPM knowledge, and experience with large-scale capital projects. Offshore or site experience and decommissioning project planning experience are preferred.
