Painting QC Inspector for a contract role in Talacre, United Kingdom, supporting a Carbon Capture project in Liverpool Bay. Responsibilities include ensuring painting inspections comply with the Quality Control Plan, issuing quality records, managing non-conformance reports, verifying material storage and calibration certification, witnessing and performing coating process qualifications, checking surface preparation and atmospheric conditions, carrying out wet and dry film thickness checks, monitoring coating cycles and wet film thickness, verifying color-coding and painting, performing visual inspections, adhesion testing, penetration testing, impact testing, and visual checks before and after blasting. The role requires experience in coatings and painting inspection within the oil and gas industry, strong knowledge of coating processes, inspection requirements, defect identification, hands-on inspection experience, and understanding of Inspection and Test Plans and quality control requirements. Certification required: NACE or FROSIO level 2.
