Faststream is recruiting on behalf of a well-established maritime operator for Engineering Officers (EOOW) to join a fleet of High-Speed Craft on a fixed-term contract supporting peak season operations. The role involves supporting the safe operation, maintenance, and reliability of the vessel's machinery and engineering systems, ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations. The contract runs until the end of October and offers a salary equivalent to £49,000 per annum pro rata, a 4 days on / 4 days off rotation, maximum 12-hour shifts, and rotating early, late, and night shifts. The opportunity includes experience on modern High-Speed Craft and potential future permanent opportunities. Requirements include EOOW (Engineer Officer of the Watch) CoC, previous seagoing engineering experience, a strong understanding of marine engineering systems and planned maintenance, ability to work within a close-knit engineering team, and good communication skills with a proactive approach to safety.
