Faststream Recruitment is seeking a talented Senior Sous Chef to join a leading ultra luxury cruise line. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, leading and mentoring a team of experienced chefs, collaborating on menu planning and innovation, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Responsibilities also include inventory management, cost control, and maintaining kitchen efficiency. Requirements include experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a luxury cruise line, five-star hotel, or Michelin-starred restaurant, strong leadership and kitchen management skills, expertise in international cuisine and modern culinary techniques, and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. A valid STCW certification and C1/D visa are required or must be obtainable. The position offers a 5 months on, 2 months off rotation and a salary of $5600 per month onboard, with an ASAP start date.
