About the role
RWE Generation UK is offering a full-time, fixed-term 13-month industrial placement in Control & Instrumentation Engineering within its Engineering and Outage group. The role supports C&I work across outages and projects at CCGT power plants, providing engineering support to help operate fleet power stations safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include data analysis, asset integrity support, plant improvement projects, plant investigations, and assisting with work packages during large station outages. The placement is based at one of RWE Generation’s sites in Pembroke, Staythorpe, Didcot, or Little Barford. Candidates should be pursuing a BEng or MEng in Engineering or Science with an industrial placement year and be willing to travel within the UK and potentially Europe, including overnight stays.
