About the role
Experienced Assistant Mooring Master role within an offshore oil and gas operation. Responsibilities include supporting and supervising tanker mooring and unmooring during offshore loading, coordinating vessel movements and marine operations, monitoring crude oil loading, offloading and transfer activities, ensuring compliance with marine safety, operational and environmental requirements, and preparing operational reports while supporting audits, inspections and emergency response. Requirements include valid STCW II/2 Certificate of Competency, at least 3 years of oil tanker experience, experience as Chief Officer, Chief Mate, Master Mariner or equivalent, experience on large Oil Tankers and/or FPSOs, crude oil loading/offloading or cargo transfer experience, and advanced English. Preferred experience includes FPSO or FSO exposure, Loading Master experience, mooring operations, crude oil export, Aframax/Suezmax/VLCC tankers, tandem offloading, and offshore marine terminal operations.
