Vetting Auditor, EU. Remote-based with extensive international travel; EU applications only. The role involves conducting onboard internal vetting audits, preparing vessels and crew for external inspections, and verifying compliance with company procedures, statutory requirements, and industry standards. Responsibilities include scheduled audits onboard vessels, preparation for SIRE 2.0 and CDI inspections, review of reports and corrective actions, onboard training and coaching, verification of operational processes, support for PIQ preparation, and clear audit reporting. The position requires previous sea-going experience as Master or Chief Engineer, at least 24 months' experience as Master, Chief Officer, Chief Engineer, or Second Engineer on tankers, and strong knowledge of vessel operations, vetting, auditing, and maritime regulations. Gas carrier experience is preferred, and shore-based gas vessel Superintendent experience may be considered. The working pattern includes 210 days per year away from home, including onboard and office travel time, plus 50 working days remotely from home supporting the Vetting team.
