About the role
Marine Engineer position based in Liverpool with a leading marine services provider. The role involves maintenance and repair of engineering, electrical and hull systems and equipment on pilot boats, gig boats, an OSRV and a survey boat. Duties include out-of-hours cover as Duty Engineer, maintaining engineering checklists and planned maintenance records, promoting safe working and regulatory compliance, working with colleagues and third parties, and managing mechanical and electrical spares. Requirements include time-served Marine Engineer or Plant Engineer experience, or equivalent, with electrical knowledge, mechanical/electrical engineering qualifications desirable, experience with small craft preferred, flexibility for an on-call rota, a right to work in the UK, a full UK driving licence, and living within one hour of Liverpool.
