About the role
Faststream is recruiting an Operational Excellence Manager for an established offshore marine organisation. The role will lead and develop operational improvement, assurance, governance and risk management across shore-based and vessel operations within the ship management function. Responsibilities include implementing operational excellence strategy, driving continuous improvement across marine, technical and QHSE operations, maintaining management systems and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with ISM and ISO standards, developing assurance and audit programmes, managing operational and technical risks, supporting incident investigations, developing KPIs and performance reporting, supporting new technology and working practices, maintaining planned maintenance and fleet management systems, developing emergency response arrangements, and leading and developing the team. Requirements include senior experience in Operational Excellence, QHSE, Marine Assurance or a similar role, strong marine, offshore or vessel management background, knowledge of marine operations, technical risk, ISM and ISO standards, experience in audit, assurance, risk management and incident investigation, and strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. The business operates a specialist fleet supporting the energy and offshore sectors and has an international operational footprint.
