RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Flex Gen Project Dev Manager to join its Project Development team in Chicago, Illinois. The role oversees project development activities from origination through financial investment decision support for data center sites and natural gas generation assets. Responsibilities include site selection, project and portfolio budgeting and scheduling, managing external consultants for environmental studies, engineering, and permitting, representing RWE with transmission providers and permitting bodies, and supporting market analysis, strategy development, and mentoring of Project Associates. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of experience in large infrastructure project development, and experience with land negotiation, real estate agreements, interconnection, land, utilities, and permitting. Travel may be required. The annual base salary range in Illinois is $138,000 to $208,000.
