About the role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Vessel Operator to oversee vessel voyage operations from planning through closure. The role involves managing commercial shipping operations to ensure voyages are safe, compliant, efficient, and profitable, while working closely with chartering, masters, port agents, technical managers, customers, brokers, and internal teams. Responsibilities include leading voyage execution from pre-fixture to post-fixture, supporting regulatory compliance and voyage readiness, optimizing bunker planning and voyage monitoring, maintaining Profit & Loss records, and ensuring accurate invoicing and fund collection. Candidates should have a strong understanding of commercial shipping operations, preferably tanker experience, though other blue water vessel experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, financially aware, and able to manage multiple stakeholders under pressure.
