A large cruise line is seeking an Apprentice Purser to join one of its ships. The role supports senior Pursers and the Crew Payroll Manager with money order sales, crew account collection, payroll distribution, and other crew-related financial matters, as well as guest financial tasks such as gratuity posting, prepaid amenity reconciliation, and payment processing. Responsibilities include assisting with sign-on/off procedures, ID cards, office inventory, cash handling, clerical work, passport data entry, embarkation/disembarkation support, foreign currency exchange, bank float balancing, and other shipboard duties as required. Candidates should have completed basic education equivalency and have experience in payroll or accounting processing, along with customer service, communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.
