A client is seeking a Second Engineer for tugboats, working in a fixed rotation aboard a modern fleet operating within and outside Europe. The role involves supporting the chief engineer in the engine room, standing watch, performing maintenance under the planned maintenance system, and investigating technical faults on board. Candidates should have at least Netherlands Certificate of Competency III/3, valid STCW certificates, a valid medical examination, a valid seaman's book, and preferably experience on tugboats or workboats. The company offers flexible ad hoc leave and work schedules, with fixed 2:2 or 4:4 rotation also possible, and good employment conditions, including the possibility of a permanent contract.
