Bootsman/Stuwerdek in the Vlissingen area, Zeeland. Responsible and varied role in port and logistics, focused on loading and unloading ships, coordinating teams on the quay and aboard ship, determining suitable loading and unloading methods, and coordinating crane operations. Safety, quality, and compliance are central. The role includes two-shift work, night shifts, and approximately one weekend duty every four weeks. Requirements include mbo-level working and thinking ability, a valid VCA certificate, knowledge of logistics processes around ships, cargo types, stowage plans and stowage rules, strong spatial awareness, and own transport to the work locations. Salary is €3,600.00 to €4,860.00 gross per month including allowances.
