Engine Room Supervisor for offshore operations onboard an FPSO vessel located offshore Tamaulipas, Mexico. The role leads safe operation and maintenance of engine room equipment, utility systems, and associated machinery, ensuring operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and high safety standards. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the position oversees daily operations, coordinates maintenance activities, supervises technical personnel, and supports emergency response and environmental compliance initiatives. Responsibilities include supervising equipment operation, start-up, shutdown, isolation, and reinstatement; leading routine and corrective maintenance; managing personnel, contractors, and vendor technicians; conducting work planning, toolbox talks, shift handovers, and team briefings; monitoring equipment performance; supporting emergency preparedness; identifying operational risks and equipment failures; ensuring environmental compliance; and promoting continuous improvement. Requirements include STCW III/2 Chief Engineer Officer certification, prior Chief Engineer experience, at least 2 years as 1st Engineer, knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and utility systems, Permit to Work and computerized maintenance management system experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, medical fitness for international offshore assignments, English communication skills, and strong leadership and team management capabilities.
