About the role
2nd ETO (Cruise) role with a leading cruise line, working as part of a small Electro-Technical team aboard vessels. Responsibilities include monitoring electrical equipment and systems, power generation, control systems, radio communications, electronic navigation aids, and supporting maintenance, repairs, and routine testing of electrical and electronic equipment, communication and entertainment systems, selected IT systems, automation and control systems, electrical machinery, auxiliary systems, and galley and laundry equipment. Requirements include STCW regulation III/6 Certificate of Competency, Basic Training Certificates as per STCW standard, 24-36 months of shipboard experience on a cruise ship as an Electro Technical Officer, preferred Electro-Technical Engineer degree or technical training, English proficiency, ship safety management focus, and teamwork.
