About the role
We are seeking an experienced EC&I Inspector for a project in Renfrew, Scotland. The role involves inspection and verification of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation installations in line with project specifications, quality requirements, and industry standards. Responsibilities include inspecting field instrumentation, control valves, actuators, junction boxes, control panels, tubing, impulse lines, cabling, terminations, wiring, earthing, shielding, and segregation; verifying installations against project documentation; supporting loop checks, calibration, functional testing, commissioning, and handover activities; inspecting PLC, DCS, SCADA, and ESD interfaces; identifying defects; and completing inspection and quality documentation. Experience with EC&I or C&I inspection, P&IDs, loop drawings, cabling, tubing systems, and regulated industrial environments is required. CompEx or IECEx certification and hazardous-area experience are desirable.
