About the role
2nd Engineer required for an AHTS vessel operating in the UAE / Strait of Hormuz. The role is a contractor position with a joining date after 20 September 2026, on an 8 weeks on/off rotation, and a salary of €550/day. The vessel was built in 2003 and is fitted with 4 × Bergen B32:40L6P engines. Candidates should have at least 24 months of experience as 2nd Engineer on AHT/AHTS vessels, experience with Bergen engines, strong open-sea towing experience, valid STCW certificates, good command of English, and be willing to operate in the Strait of Hormuz under current regional conditions.
