About the role
A leading international marine engineering business is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join its European team. The role involves commissioning specialist equipment and control systems, carrying out testing, troubleshooting and diagnostics, supporting PLC and software commissioning activities, working with electrical, electronic and automation systems, supporting installation, dock trials and sea trials, identifying and resolving technical issues, and providing technical support throughout the commissioning process. The position requires at least 3 years' experience in automation, controls or a related technical discipline, experience with PLCs and software engineering, previous commissioning or field service experience, experience with electrical, electronic or mechatronic systems, experience supporting sea trials, testing or vessel commissioning, and a relevant technical qualification. Full driving licence and valid passport required, with willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
