About the role
NDT Technician responsible for industrial inspection support onshore and offshore of piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, mechanical and structural components, and related inspection work. Duties include assisting senior technicians with various NDT methods, preparing tools and equipment, conducting surveys of offshore structures, vessels, and pipelines, performing cathodic protection surveys, using rope access techniques, documenting findings, preparing inspection reports, supporting maintenance tasks, maintaining equipment, following offshore safety protocols, assisting with training, and performing radiographic and other NDT testing. Requirements include at least two years of documented NDT Level II experience, Level II certification in Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Visual, Ultrasonic Thickness, and Dye Penetrant Testing methods, a valid driver's license, and ability to obtain TWIC, passport, SafeGulf, and HUET Water Survival certification. The role requires willingness to work onshore and offshore in remote locations and to complete a respiratory fit test for H2S environments and confined spaces. Desired experience includes offshore and confined space work, rope access certification, and basic computer knowledge.
