Subsea Survey Engineer at Oceantech Subsea & Marine Services. Full-time, contract position for offshore project-based and onshore work. The role involves planning, executing, and troubleshooting subsea survey operations, including geophysical, hydrographic, and positioning tasks. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of survey sensors and data acquisition systems onboard survey and construction support vessels, and acting as liaison between the client, contractor, and vessel crew. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Hydrography, Geophysics, Electronics, or a related field; at least 3 years of offshore survey experience, preferably in subsea construction or IRM; hands-on experience with survey software and systems such as QINSy, EIVA, Sonardyne, and Kongsberg; and familiarity with IMCA standards. Preferred certifications include BOSIET / FOET, an offshore medical certificate such as OGUK or equivalent, and H2S Awareness if required by the project.
