About the role

Faststream Recruitment is seeking a Crewing Officer to join an established international marine and offshore services business based in Dubai. This role supports the day-to-day crewing requirements of a diverse fleet of offshore and specialist workboats. The Crewing Officer will coordinate crew changes, maintain crew documentation, and ensure vessels are appropriately manned to meet operational and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating crew rotations, mobilisations and demobilisations; arranging crew travel, accommodation and visas; maintaining crew records, certifications, medicals and training documentation; ensuring compliance with STCW, flag state, client and company requirements; liaising with vessel Masters, operational teams, crewing agencies and external service providers; monitoring crew availability, leave schedules and certification renewals; supporting recruitment, onboarding and deployment of marine personnel; resolving day-to-day crewing issues; and maintaining crewing databases. Requirements include previous experience in a Crewing Officer, Crew Coordinator or similar maritime crewing position, experience supporting offshore vessels, workboats or marine construction fleets, good understanding of seafarer certification and STCW requirements, experience coordinating international crew changes, strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and crewing management systems. Candidates already based in the UAE would be preferred. The business delivers specialist vessel operations and marine project support across multiple regions.
