About the role

Mechanical Technician / Watchkeeper – Offshore. An experienced offshore installation team member is required to support the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, engine room systems, utilities, and power generation equipment. Responsibilities include engine room watchkeeping, machinery inspections, logbook completion, monitoring machinery performance, supporting fuel and oil consumption efficiency, operating service, steam and hotel systems, performing planned and corrective maintenance using Maximo MMS, supporting safe refrigerant handling, maintaining emergency plant and equipment, assisting with safety-critical tasks, acting as Area Authority when required, and supporting emergency response duties in the Engine Room Control Room and Offshore Emergency Response Team. Desired qualifications and experience include Combined Offshore Survival, Fire Fighting and HUET, MIST/IMIST, UK Offshore Medical Certificate, UK Certificate of Fitness for Emergency Response Team duties, a relevant engine room systems qualification, and maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas or Marine industry, with marine watchkeeping experience.
