About the role
Faststream is partnering with a towage and marine services group with an offshore and harbour fleet across Australia and APAC. They are hiring a Docking Superintendent to join their fleet team in Singapore, responsible for dry-dock planning and execution for an offshore vessel fleet. The role is Singapore-based with frequent travel to Australia, attending dockings, working with local yards, and supporting the Australian fleet on the ground. Responsibilities include planning and managing scheduled and unscheduled dry dockings, preparing docking specifications, tendering to yards, evaluating quotes, negotiating commercial terms, building and controlling docking budgets, supervising yard work, quality and safety, coordinating class surveys and statutory work, liaising with vessel crews and technical teams, and closing out each docking with reports and updated maintenance records. Candidates should have proven dry-docking experience, preferably with tugs, OSVs or similar workboats, familiarity with the Australian maritime environment, an engineering or marine qualification, and confidence negotiating with shipyards and contractors.
