About the role

Master Trainee – Dredging Vessel (TSHD). This role is for high-potential Indonesian deck officers with strong offshore or high-intensity vessel backgrounds, offering structured command-level training, European operational exposure, and a pathway toward Master positions on dredging vessels. Requirements include a valid COC Class I, valid STCW certificates, medical fitness, a current Seafarer’s Book, strong experience on offshore or high-intensity vessels such as DP vessels, AHT/AHTS, construction, cable laying, or similar units, familiarity with continuous 24/7 offshore operations, Indonesian nationality, experience with multinational or European-led crews being an advantage, clear operational English, leadership potential, sound judgement, willingness to learn, and a safety-driven, disciplined, resilient mindset. Responsibilities include assisting with safe navigation, manoeuvring, bridge watchkeeping, command decision-making in offshore and dredging operations, implementation of QHSE, ISM, and PTW systems, crew supervision, discipline, onboard coordination, emergency drills, audits, safety exercises, daily reporting, logbooks, operational documentation, and structured onboard training and dredging familiarization.
