Marine Operations Superintendent (LNG) role based in Qatar with one of the world's largest LNG ship owners. The position is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of vessels in line with Flag State, company, customer, and statutory requirements. Key duties include overseeing shipping operations, safety of navigation, cargo management, SIRE inspections, ship inspections, Safety Management System maintenance, and incident investigations. Requirements include a degree in Nautical Science or a related field, Master Mariner Certificate of Competence, 8 to 12 years of sailing experience including 3 years as Master on LNG/LPG, head office management experience in a gas/oil shipping company, and strong knowledge of SOLAS, ISM, MARPOL, ISPS, SOPEP, and ISO standards.
