Faststream Recruitment is seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a leading global cruise company. The role is based at sea on modern vessels within an established fleet. Responsibilities include supporting the Chief and Staff Engineer with daily engine room operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and technical standards, overseeing propulsion and auxiliary systems, mentoring junior engineering staff, and maintaining accurate technical records. Requirements include a Second Engineer Officer (Unlimited) CoC, valid STCW certification with Engine Room Watchkeeping endorsement, and at least two contracts as a 2nd Engineer on any vessel type. The package includes a salary from EUR 7,000 per month on board, subject to tax, and a 4 months on / 2 months off rotation.
