About the role
2nd Officer required to join an AHTS vessel currently at anchorage in Fujairah, UAE. Position: 2nd Officer (2/Off). Vessel Type: AHTS. Trading Area: UAE/Strait of Hormuz. Boarding date: after 20th of Sep. Contract duration: 8 weeks on/off. Salary: 400 EUR/day. Requirements include minimum 12 months of previous experience as 2nd Officer on AHTS vessels, strong experience in open-sea towing operations with at least 2-3 towage operations, valid STCW certificates, valid Liberian endorsement/certificates and Seaman’s Book preferred, good command of English, and willingness to operate in the Strait of Hormuz including conflict/high-risk area operations.
