About the role
RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term Year in Industry placement in Offshore O&M Concepts, starting in July 2027. The role is based in Swindon with a hybrid model of three days per week onsite and the remainder home-based. The placement offers insight into offshore wind operations and the development of operations and maintenance concepts for future wind farms, including evaluating emerging technologies, supporting concept activities, visiting operational sites, and traveling offshore after basic training. Applicants should be enrolled in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, or another relevant science or engineering degree, and be eligible for a year-in-industry placement. Strong communication skills, independence, teamwork, and willingness to travel are required. A minimum of five years’ residence in the UK is required due to possible National Security Vetting.
