About the role
An experienced Barge Master is required for several trips onboard a Jack-Up Barge operating in Europe. Position: Barge Master. Vessel Type: Jack-Up Barge. Joining Date: 2 October 2026. Contract Duration: 4 weeks. Contract Type: Several Trips. Requirements include Full GWO or Full STCW, GWO Sea Survival including Boat Transfer and Working at Height for current projects, minimum Short Range VHF, experience on live-aboard jack-ups with up to 40 people, experience managing vessel and crew, and experience with Single Action, Pin Through Hole jacking systems such as MUNS/GUSTO. Preferred qualifications include FRC, RYA Powerboat Level 2 commercially endorsed, RYA Powerboat Advanced commercially endorsed, and a crane ticket.
