Faststream is partnering with a leading global cruise operator to recruit an experienced HVAC-R Superintendent in Hamburg. This shore-based role supports a modern fleet and involves driving technical performance across vessels, including dry docks, upgrades, and major projects. The role includes ownership of HVAC and refrigeration systems across assigned vessels, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include overseeing safe and efficient operation of HVAC-R systems, planning and managing maintenance and repairs, supporting vessels with technical expertise and troubleshooting, attending vessels for inspections, audits, and shipyard periods, contributing to dry dock and refit activities, managing spare parts and maintenance strategies, and improving maintenance processes and documentation. Requirements include proven HVAC-R experience in a maritime environment, cruise experience being highly desirable, a background as an Engineer or in a technical shore-based role, a relevant technical qualification, experience with planned maintenance systems such as AMOS or Infoship, and strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
