Responsibilities include technical leadership on marine systems and offshore marine operations, planning and execution of marine project scopes, safe operation of marine equipment, coordination with classification societies such as DNV and ABS, marine inspections, surveys, audits, certification activities, review of procedures and risk assessments, contractor management, compliance with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, MODU Code, and Flag State requirements, and support for commissioning, testing, and project close-out. The role requires 10+ years of offshore marine operations experience, drillship experience, strong knowledge of marine systems and vessel operations, class survey and regulatory compliance experience, and project execution, upgrade, reactivation, SPS, or shipyard experience.
