Faststream is recruiting Engineers for a leading UK maritime operator on a fixed-term contract until the end of October, supporting operations during the busy peak season. The Class 4 Engineer will support the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's engineering systems, carry out planned maintenance and fault finding, and ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements. The role offers a salary of £49,000 per annum pro rata, a 4 days on / 4 days off working pattern, maximum 12-hour shifts, and rotating early, late, and night shifts. Requirements include being based in or near Southampton, a Class 4 Engineer Certificate of Competency or equivalent, previous seagoing engineering experience, and strong knowledge of marine propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
