About the role
Mechanical Engineering Specialist for an oil and gas LNG operating company in Qatar. The role supports operations readiness, start-up, commissioning, and handover of new onshore oil and gas facilities. Responsibilities include mechanical engineering support during EPC and startup phases, design reviews, commissioning, start-up, failure analysis, advanced troubleshooting, maintenance work packs, RCFA, scenario-based risk assessments, risk screening, and formal risk assessment. Contract duration is 24 months with possible extension. Rotation options are 3 months on / 2 weeks off or 12 months on / 1 month off. Requires a BE in Mechanical Engineering and 10 years of onshore oil and gas experience.
