About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic starter who wants to begin a career in logistics with a technical focus. This junior warehouse and workshop role is based in Schiedam for a leading client in the maritime sector. The position involves receiving, processing, and managing parts and materials, supporting the workshop, and assisting with simple technical and logistics tasks. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, checking incoming goods, packing and preparing parts for shipment, supporting inventory control and stock counts, collecting parts per installation, checking returned tools and materials, carrying out simple technical inspections under supervision, assisting mechanics in the workshop, and helping maintain a safe and tidy workplace. Requirements include MBO work and thinking level, interest in technology and logistics, a willingness to learn, good attention to detail, teamwork skills, Dutch language proficiency, basic English, and a proactive, positive attitude. A forklift or reach truck certificate is a plus.
