About the role
Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Manager (LNG) for a global shipping company based in Glasgow. The role provides support for electrical, instrumentation and automation matters across LNG vessel operations, including management of EIA functions to ensure safe, cost-effective and environmentally responsible operation. Duties include attending vessels for dry-dockings, project implementations, repairs, sea/gas trials and surveys; ensuring compliance with company, HSEQ and maintenance policies; reviewing work plans, repair and conversion specifications; acting as primary contact for the Vessel Manager/Ship Team; monitoring operational reports and equipment issues; and supporting newbuilding and project specification reviews, including equipment selection and evaluation and assessment of new technologies for new builds or retrofits. Requirements include electrical engineering training, ideally an ETO Unlimited CoC, knowledge of relevant systems, seagoing ETO experience, familiarity with current technology and industry regulations, strong teamwork and communication skills, and LNG vessel experience is preferred.
