About the role
Chief Engineer needed for a 40m motor yacht new build. The yacht is currently in the yard until March 2027, with the role focused on working alongside the Captain and shipyard team to prepare and present the vessel to the owner. The position may suit an experienced 2nd Engineer stepping up into a first Chief Engineer role. Next summer's itinerary is planned for the Mediterranean, followed by a return to the yard for warranty works. Requirements include Y3 CoC or equivalent, valid STCW certificates, ENG1 medical, and eligibility to work in Europe. B1/B2 US visa is preferred, and US citizens may also be considered. Salary is USD 9,000 with 60 days leave.
