About the role
Under the supervision of qualified personnel, this union Utility III role supports utility compliance work on underground gas facilities. Duties include assisting with installation and repair of gas mains and services, gas facility mark outs, gas leak investigations, emergency response, excavation support, operation of dump trucks, back hoes and related equipment, and support for distribution work crews. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid Class B driver's license, ability to obtain a CDL Class A within 18 months, clean driving record, DOT certification, valid hoisting license, and residency within the Adams distribution area.
