Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a major capital project in Dubai. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical commissioning activities to ensure systems are delivered safely, tested thoroughly, and handed over fit for sustained operations. The position requires close coordination with engineering, construction, and operational stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. It is a minimum 2-year residential contract with an excellent day rate and standard benefits. Requirements include an HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline, at least 10 years’ experience in mechanical design support, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, and commissioning within the oil and gas sector, and experience with commissioning documentation, utility and process systems, rotating equipment, HVAC systems, compressors, gas turbine generators, pumps, motors, pressure systems, valves, utilities packages, and leak testing methodologies.
