Duties include managing competency frameworks, training plans and compliance requirements, coordinating with crewing, operations, maritime academies and training providers, and supporting development pathways for junior officers, cadets and high-potential seafarers. Requirements include proven experience in seafarer training, competency development or maritime learning and development, knowledge of regulated maritime training requirements including STCW, ISM, MLC, IMCA and OPITO, experience with training matrices, competency tracking and learning programmes, and familiarity with LMS and e-learning platforms.
