A leading organisation is expanding its specialist team and seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer to support complex offshore vessel projects worldwide. The role involves technical assurance and engineering support for modern offshore vessels, with a focus on Dynamic Positioning (DP), marine power systems, vessel electrical systems, automation, and control. Responsibilities include reviewing marine electrical designs and technical studies, supporting DP assurance and FMEA activities, assessing vessel power generation and distribution, reviewing Power Management and Integrated Automation Systems, evaluating propulsion, thruster, and variable frequency drive systems, supporting vessel trials and commissioning, and producing technical reports and engineering documentation. The position offers exposure to modern DP vessels, hybrid power solutions, and emerging decarbonisation technologies.
