About the role
Construction Area Manager for an onshore contract role in Qatar. The position is a 36-month contract with 8–10 hours per day, 6 days per week. Responsibilities include managing and overseeing construction activities performed by EPC contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring safe execution within approved budget and schedule, and supporting construction readiness, project objectives, and facility start-up. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering and 15 years of experience in large projects in construction-related disciplines within the Oil & Gas industry, including 5 years at management level. Experience with EPC execution, contractors, service companies, heavy construction companies, design standards, safety criteria, fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, hook-up, and sour gas and LNG production facilities is required. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Outlook is needed.
