About the role
Texo Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join its Utilities division within Asset Lifecycle Management. The role involves supporting complex utility projects across the UK, delivering high-quality engineering solutions, leading on-site teams, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to project delivery, technical problem solving, and site supervision. Responsibilities include supporting safe and efficient project delivery, supervising on-site teams, providing technical expertise across mechanical and related engineering disciplines, acting as a client and stakeholder contact on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, delivering toolbox talks and project documentation, assisting with planning and procurement, mentoring junior team members, and resolving technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Utilities industry, a strong engineering background, team supervision experience, client-facing experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work safely in challenging site environments. Experience with rope access, confined spaces, fabrication, or utilities infrastructure would be advantageous.
