About the role
An established international shipping organisation is expanding its commercial team in Hamburg and seeking experienced Dry Cargo Charterers. The role is focused on the Handy, Supramax and Ultramax markets and involves developing cargo opportunities, building relationships with charterers, owners and brokers, negotiating voyage and time charter business, managing fixtures, monitoring freight markets, and contributing to dry cargo and tonnage strategy. Candidates should have at least 3 years of commercial dry cargo chartering experience, strong experience within geared dry bulk shipping, exposure to Handy, Supramax and/or Ultramax vessels, a strong commercial network, and the ability to originate business independently. The position offers a competitive Hamburg package, performance-related bonus, company car, and significant autonomy.
