About the role

Faststream Recruitment is partnering with a globally recognised cruise brand to source an experienced Stage and Production Manager for onboard entertainment teams. The role involves leading production shows at sea in custom-built entertainment venues, working with performers, multimedia technology, and immersive stage effects. Key responsibilities include overseeing the technical and logistical aspects of stage productions onboard, managing stage crew, technicians, and show support staff, coordinating show schedules, rehearsals, and equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, serving as the primary point of contact between entertainment, technical, and cruise management teams, and supporting load-in/load-out operations while maintaining production timelines. Requirements include a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Fine Arts degree in Theatre, Stage Management, or Technical Arenas preferred; proven experience as a Stage or Production Manager in theatre, events, or cruise entertainment; strong understanding of show calling, cueing, and stage technologies such as lighting, sound, and automation; excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills; ability to manage high-pressure live environments and tight production schedules; previous shipboard experience preferred but not essential; and STCW Basic Safety Training or willingness to obtain. Benefits include a 4 months on / 2 months off rotation, $3500 per month worked onboard, and international travel to unique destinations.
