About the role
Vessel Manager - Arabic Speaking. Permanent shore-based role in Southampton reporting to the Fleet Manager. Responsible for the technical and operational management of assigned vessels, including maintenance planning, budget control, compliance, performance monitoring, repairs, dry dock projects, procurement, vendor management, incident support, and technical reporting. Requires a degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related maritime discipline, Chief Engineer CoC preferred, fluency in Arabic, prior experience in vessel management or technical superintendent roles, seagoing Chief Engineer experience on ocean-going vessels, and strong knowledge of PMS and SMS. Experience with container vessels, dry dockings, and LNG, methanol, dual-fuel or alternative-fuel vessels is advantageous.
