About the role
Material Co-ordinator position supporting a major carbon capture project in Hartlepool. The role involves managing material handling operations on site, including checking and manifesting container contents, overseeing quayside operations, coordinating vessel loading and discharging, liaising with project personnel and vessels for port calls, and ensuring customs procedures are followed. Minimum 6 years' experience in materials coordination is required, along with strong knowledge of quayside operations, customs procedures, port logistics, vessel coordination, and dangerous goods handling. Experience with carbon capture or similar large-scale energy projects, environmental and safety compliance, and ERP or material tracking systems is desirable. Contract role for 2–3 months, full time, with an immediate start.
