Vetting Superintendent - VLCC India / China Join an established international shipping organisation in a hands-on role focused on strengthening VLCC inspection, vetting readiness and marine compliance across tanker operations. The position involves extensive international travel and vessel attendance to conduct inspections, identify deficiencies, assess readiness for external inspections, and work with ship and shore teams to improve compliance standards. Responsibilities include pre-vetting inspections, gap analysis, SIRE / SIRE 2.0 readiness, OCIMF requirements, PSC and Flag State inspections, follow-up and close-out of findings, and monitoring compliance with ISM, ISPS and MARPOL requirements across the VLCC fleet. Requirements include Master Mariner with substantial shore-based experience in marine superintendent, vetting superintendent, tanker inspection or comparable roles, with proven VLCC inspection, vetting and compliance experience.
